Our next Chakradance session will soon be here, to be held on Sunday October 16th, 10am to 11.30am at Bedwyn Village Hall. This time we will be dancing the Awakening Base Chakra. This is the Dance of Mother Earth.
Our base chakra is connected with our overall physical health. In this chakra we connect with our instincts. If we don’t spend enough time outdoors this connection may weaken, and when this happens we lose touch with our own instincts, we feel unsafe, unstable and out of rhythm with life.
In Chakradance we enter into a waking dream. We begin to activate inner experiences. You may see images as you dance, recall memories and gain insights. It is an organic unfolding of what is held in our base chakra. We have the opportunity to release stagnated energy bringing our lives into balance and flow.
We allow the medicine of the music, which has been specifically selected to resonate with the base chakra, to bring this energy centre into harmony. When this chakra is in balance, we feel supported, our foundation is secure, addictions can be healed, our physical body is nurtured.
This movement therapy weaves together, spontaneous dance, resonant music, meditation and mandala art. The cost is £20.00

We are starting Chakradance in Bedwyn Village hall this Sunday, 3rd July, at 10am. Come along and dance the base chakra, the first of our seven charka dances. Get in touch with your roots and your animal instincts! Contact me for further details.
I am excited to share that Chakradance is coming back to Great Bedwyn Village Hall:
From July 3rd – August 14th 2022, Journeying Workshop, 10am -12pm Every Sunday morning for seven weeks.
As an accredited CHAKRADANCE facilitator, I am excited to be able to offer this healing dance practice for body and soul. Based on the 4000-year old system of the chakras that form the backbone of Eastern philosophies, including yoga and acupuncture, Chakradance is a surprisingly effective, anyone can do it, way to de-stress and rebalance your inner energies. Chakradance has been well received all over the world , including at the Chopra Centre in California.
Blending free-flowing movements with particular frequencies of sound, Chakradance™ will free the energy in your body and open you to a deeper experience of life. A healing dance/movement practice that draws on a fusion of philosophies and musical styles, Chakradance™ aims to restore health to our chakras – the energy centres that, in Eastern tradition, are the gateways to integrating mind, body and spirit. An unravelling of blocked energy, a deepened connection to your true, authentic self and the feeling of coming home.
In a darkened room, lit only by candle-light, we move with our eyes closed, and our attention turned inwards, for unlike most other dance practices, Chakradance™ is about making a connection with our inner world – the world of our imagination, feelings, intuition and senses.
Welcome to Chakradance™. Come and explore. Have fun. Find meaning. Let go. Come and look deeper into each chakra, each part of you, and experience more within the dance that is uniquely yours.
Places are limited so please book early. I recommend committing to the 7 week experience if possible. If unable, you are also welcome to dive in and experience healing for individual Chakras.
Exchange £25.00 per session. If you book and pay for the seven week programme £150.00 saving £25.00

Rachael Drew, an experienced beauty and massage therapist, is joining Chisbury Wellbeing. She begins working on Mondays from June 6th. I’m really delighted Rachel is on board to make her offering to you.
Rachel says; “I have been a therapist for 30 years and still absolutely love what I do. Having studied at college for 3 years, I then began my career in London salons, gaining lots of experience. After several years, I headed back to Wiltshire where I grew up. My work in salons continued, alongside some mobile work until I had children. Since the I have predominantly worked on a mobile basis, building an amazing clientele through word of mouth only, and many of those clients are still with me now, 20 years later.
“I am really looking forwards to a new stage in my career working at the Chisbury Wellbeing clinic and having the opportunity to meet new clients.”
You can contact Rachel directly on 07778 656294 or at [email protected]
This lovely treatment focusses on relaxation by concentrating on the muscles of the face, neck and arm areas. Our face is often neglected, but it contains many small muscles and lymphatic drainage channels. These can carry significant tension and profoundly affect how we feel; perhaps blocked, puffy, or stiff. A facial can give a wonderful experience of release.
I use a specific blend of carefully selected essentials oils for a truly unique facial. The treatment includes shoulder, neck, hand and arm massage to fully relax the upper body. During consultation I can advise you on the oils to choose for your facial, or can select them for you. This deeply relaxing treatment takes 60 minutes and costs £58.00.
On Sunday 15th November I’m holding the next Chakradance workshop in Bedwyn village hall at 10am. The workshop is about two and a half hours long, and we will be exploring the sacral chakra. Our sacral chakra is about our passion, power and pleasure, creativity and emotions. Bringing it into balance we become more conscious of our inner nature and develop a deeper appreciation for our emotional well-being. Intimate relationships become easier when blockages are released and life feels sweeter. The investment is £25.
Give me a call on 07818 644 094 for more information.
A big thank you to everyone who danced with me at the Chakradance workshop on Sunday at Bedwyn village hall. Twelve participants dived deep into a journey with the root chakra, using dance, meditation, guided imagery and mandala art work. I certainly enjoyed it!
This was the first workshop I’m holding to journey through the seven major chakras of the body’s energy system. Next month there will be a workshop covering the second chakra, the Sacral chakra. We’ll be doing the dance of the sacred feminine and getting in touch with our inner goddesses (men can do this too!). This will also be at Bedwyn Village Hall, at 10am through to 1pm, Sunday November 15th.
If you feel you need to move on some old, stale, energy and dance your way into your connection to your root chakra that draws power from the earth, then this is for you.
On Sunday morning 18 October from 10am to noon, Bedwyn village hall will be transformed into a healing sanctuary. Leave your worries, with your shoes, at the door and for 2 hours surrender into a dynamic dance journey into your base chakra. Feel truly alive and connect back to your true authentic self.
Numbers will be limited, so book on early to make sure you secure your spot on the dance-floor. Investment is £25. For more information see my page on chakradance.
Chakradance® classes involve spontaneous dance to music specially designed to resonate with each in turn of our major chakras, or energy centers. Its founder, Australian-born Natalie Southgate, claims the practice can release blocked energies as well as calming chakras that have become over-active. “Chakradance® aims to restore participants to a balanced state of wellbeing in which all the natural energies (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual) once again flow freely”, says Southgate.
Journeying with the Base Chakra
When we embody the qualities of Mother Earth we find a sense of safety, security, grounding. It is from this chakra that we connect to our instincts. The primal, instinctual, primitive, raw, wild, animal part of ourselves. Our modern culture of traffic jams, deadlines, not enough time in nature, can all weaken our connection to our instincts. Reclaiming this instinctual energy can help us feel more alive and vibrant, more in tune with our bodies and environment. Regain a deeper sense of what early ancestors knew.
