Rachael Drew joins Chisbury Wellbeing

Rachael Drew, an experienced beauty and massage therapist, is joining Chisbury Wellbeing. She begins working on Mondays from June 6th. I’m really delighted Rachel is on board to make her offering to you.

Rachel says; “I have been a therapist for 30 years and still absolutely love what I do. Having studied at college for 3 years, I then began my career in London salons, gaining lots of experience. After several years, I headed back to Wiltshire where I grew up. My work in salons continued, alongside some mobile work until I had children. Since the I have predominantly worked on a mobile basis, building an amazing clientele through word of mouth only, and many of those clients are still with me now, 20 years later.

Christmas Party!

massage in hungerfordTo help celebrate we are holding a Christmas Party! Thursday 14th December will be a taster day with special treatments on offer.  For just £12.00 come along and try a toe or nail paint, Indian Head Massage, Advanced Tsuboki Face Massage or Back, Neck and Shoulder Massage. Each of these is a half hour taster treatment, plus mince pies and mulled fruit punch!  There’s also the chance to get last minute Gift Vouchers or Neal’s Yard products for Christmas!  The treatments need to be booked in advance – please hurry as we expect popular times to go quickly!  You can also book our January Special Offer ahead of time; a lovely Detox Spa treatment.  Normally this full body scrub and pamper massage costs £77 for 90 minutes, but in January it will be just £69.  Our Christmas Party will be from 9am to 6:30pm.

Structural Rebalancing – new treatment!

Structural Rebalancing is a pioneering new treatment that uses cherry picked techniques from the very best of sports & remedial massage, Thai Yoga massage and Cranio Sacral Therapy. It takes a holistic approach to body work that is perfect working with acute or chronic pain. In particular it is useful for conditions involving muscle or skeletal issues, recovery from injury caused by trauma or sport, or as a preventive treatment to alleviate stress building up in the tissues of the body.

An initial consultation takes 90 minutes and costs £72.00, with continuing treatments being 60 minutes and costing £52.00.

Christmas period opening hours

Quiescence will be working up to and including the 23rd December, with limited beauty treatments only available on Christmas Eve (the 24th) and the 27th and 28th of December.  If you want any treatments during this period please contact me to book them well in advance.

Deep Tissue Massage for aches and pains – new treatment

I am now offering Deep Tissue Massage that reaches deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles) using firm pressure and slow strokes. It can benefit chronic aches and pain or tight areas like a stiff neck and upper back, low back pain, leg muscle tightness, or sore shoulders.  It lasts 90 minutes and costs £72.00.  Call me to book yours!

Indian Head Massage Special Offer!

Our Special Offer this month (and March!) is a truly relaxing Indian Head Massage.  Sarah does these really well, so you can either contact her while I’m away (see previous post), or myself on my return.  This treatment would normally cost £40.00 for forty five minutes but during February and March the cost will be £34.00.  Ah yes!
